This Privacy Policy explains how Vision collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile app, website, and related services.

Vision is a personal productivity, habit-building, goal-tracking, journaling, routine-management, and digital wellbeing app. Some features help users manage focus and screen time by allowing them to restrict selected apps, app categories, and websites.

By using Vision, you agree to the collection and use of information described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create or sign in to your Vision account, we may collect:

Vision currently supports sign-in with Apple and Google. Vision does not support email/password sign-in.

Productivity and App Data

Vision may collect and store the data you create or generate inside the app, including:

This data is used to provide Vision’s core features, sync your account, restore your data, and personalize your experience.

Journal Data

If you use journaling features, your journal entries may be stored on Vision’s backend servers.

Journal entries can contain personal or sensitive information depending on what you choose to write. You should only enter information you are comfortable storing in Vision.

At this time, journal entries may be stored in plaintext in our database. We protect our systems using security measures, but you should not treat Vision as an encrypted private diary unless we specifically state that end-to-end encryption has been implemented.

Screen Time, Restrictions, and Blocking Data

Vision includes digital wellbeing and restriction features that may use Apple Screen Time-related APIs, including Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity, and Screen Time report extensions.

Depending on how you use these features, Vision may process:

Some Screen Time and restriction data is stored locally on your device and in a shared iOS App Group container so that Vision and its extensions can work properly.

Vision may sync selected blocked apps, categories, websites, and restriction settings to our backend if cloud sync for those settings is enabled. This may include app names, package identifiers, website/domain names, and related blocking settings.

Screen Time usage summaries, such as today’s usage minutes or past 7-day usage totals, are processed locally for app functionality and are not currently uploaded to Vision’s backend.

Device and Session Information

When you sign in or use Vision, we may collect technical information such as:
